I recently enjoyed an unforgettable meal featuring tender, flavorful wild boar that was simply mind-blowing. The meal was perfectly complemented by a deliciously rich apple pie for dessert, paired with a smooth and robust Polish red wine. Truly a culinary experience to remember!
The best restaurant in Krakow. All was perfect- food, service so quickly and professional and very tasty. We were with family and even my daughter 9 years old was enjoying nice tasty soup in bread! It was amazing atmosphere there. House wine - in very good price and really a good choice for meat.
Highly recommend to visit this place if you want to try the taste of Poland! We came there, friendly waiter served us a welcome drink, food was delicious and just enough for the dinner, no more no less , then they served us goodbye drink. Not too touristic place so the atmosphere is very calmed and romantic!
My hotel’s receptionist recommended this restaurant to me, so I went there to give it a try. This restaurant offers free city maps to hotels and anyone who comes in with their free map gets a free welcome drink, which was a small glass of alcoholic apple cider. Once you arrive at the restaurant’s front entrance, you need to walk down some stairs to actually get to the restaurant itself. I didn’t see an elevator option so if you can’t walk down the stairs you may want to call the restaurant to see if there is a way for you to go downstairs from the street level safely, just in case I did not see that option when I was there, before you head out there. Since I was dining alone I was unable to try those menu options for 2 or more people. I ordered the red borscht with ravioli (28zl) as my appetizer, and the mix regional starter plate (48zl) which included 3 different traditional appetizers: grilled cheese served with cranberry sauce, dumplings with cottage cheese and potato filling, and the Galician rye meal soup with sausage and egg. It was a very hot day (78 degrees Fahrenheit) so it was refreshing to hydrate my body with the nice hot red borscht with beets. The mix regional starter plate was quite filling, so I am glad I had it as my main course as I was full after that. Service was quite good and efficient, so I was out of there in about 45 minutes. The server brought my check in a nicely decorated wooden box and there was a suggestion of 10% tips on the bill, and a small glass of free digestif which was a very nice surprise.
What a find in Krakow this restaurant was just what we wanted for our 55th anniversary meal. It was authentic polish food and wine, if we go again this will be first stop.
Friendly waiter! Great food and really worth it for the price you pay. Take the shared meat platter for 2, you will not be disappointed. Amazing atmosphere too.
Visited late one Friday- recommended by our hotel receptionist, basically just wanted a quick snack so just had a few starters. Service was quick and friendly. Food was just right
Awesome spot. We were the only ones at 5.30 on a Saturday, but crowds came in at 6.30. Given a mulled wine on entry, and a apple vodka after we had settled the bill. Unexpected and delightful! Meals are huge and good prices. Waiter was excellent. Recommended
